چکیده

A study of callus induction of Tecomella undulata was conducted using a various concentrations of PGRs namely cytokinins such as BAP and KIN and auxins such as 2, 4-D, NAA and IAA. Internodal explants were aseptically cultured on MS medium supplemented with different concentrations (1.03.0 mg/l) of BAP, KIN, 2, 4-D, IAA and NAA. After two weeks callus was formed at the cut surface of the explants. The highest number of callus forming was obtained from explants cultured on the medium supplemented with 2.0 mg/l in 2.5mg/l 2,4-D alone were the induced calli were ceramish white in colour and structurally friable. Abbreviations sMS Murashige and Skoog (1962) basal medium; BAP Benzyl amino purine; KINKinetin 2,4-D 2,4Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid; NAA a-naphthalene acetic acid; IAA Indole acetic acid.

Callus Induction and Organogenesis Capacity from Lamina Explant of Petunia × hybrida F1 Induced by BA and NAA

Plant growth regulators (PGRs) have an important role in callus induction and organogenesis of plant explants cultured in vitro conditions. Callus has a proper potential for plant regeneration through indirect organogenesis and embryogenesis as well suspension culture, genetic transformation and production of secondary metabolites. In current experiment, leaf explants of Petunia × hybrida F1 we...

Rapid and high throughput regeneration in fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.) from embryo explants

Callus induction and regeneration of fennel from embryo explants were stabilized in the presence of cefotaxime antibiotic and different plant growth regulators (PGRs). The experiments were conducted under a factorial experiment, based on a completely randomized design (CRD). Genotypes; Fasa, Meshkinshar and Hajiabad were applied under different concentration of cefotaxime (0 and 100 mg l-1...
